Group tenancy apartments at A‑Kruunu
Group tenancy is a new form of communal housing at A-Kruunu. A group tenancy apartment has multiple tenants who all have their own lease agreement.
A group tenancy apartment has multiple tenants who all have their own lease agreement. Our objective is to allow residents to have a say in who they wish to live with. Even in a situation where one resident of a group tenancy apartment decides to terminate their tenancy agreement, the remaining residents will still be able to influence the choice of the new resident. However, all final decision are made by A-Kruunu on the basis of the applications it receives.
The apartments are designed to serve the basic idea of the group rental concept, which is to combine private and shared space in living.
The first units that were built in accordance with the new concept were completed in 2021 in Helsinki at our Turunmaankatu site in Kruununvuorenranta, and in Länsisatamankatu in Jätkäsaari in 2022.
