Artist dwellings
Artist dwellings are atelier-style apartments with lots of natural light and a living space, intended for full-time visual artists.
These two-story atelier-style artist dwellings have their own street-level entrance. The first floor is made up of a tall and bright, open workspace, and the toilet and living space can be found on the second floor loft. There is a balconette on the second floor that lets in more natural light.
Applications for these apartments are open to full-time visual artists.
A-Kruunu’s first artist dwellings in Nihti, Kalasatama at Konttinosturinkuja will be completed in December 2024 and be 76.5–97m2 in size.
Information on applying for an artist dwelling
Applications for artist dwellings are accepted with the A-Kruunu joint application form. Applications for these apartments are open to full-time visual artists. Your position as a full-time visual artist will be verified during the selection process.
The application form has a separate checkmark for an artist dwelling; if left unchecked, your application will not be distinguished as an application for an artist dwelling.
