We have returned to normal practices and routines at all our offices. More information will be provided office-specifically.

Use of communal saunas and club rooms from 1.6.2021

Special measures and restrictions in the common areas of A-Kruunu's buildings are still mostly in force.  The residents' communal saunas are not in use. Club facilities will be back in use in accordance with the advice from the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland (AVI) from 1 June 2021. You can read more information about the restrictions that are in force on the website of AVI. You should also follow the current official guidelines on THL's website

We remind all our residents to follow good hand and cough hygiene. Avoid touching handrails, handles, elevator buttons and other surfaces with dirty or bare hands. We hope that you only use the common areas alone or with your own party and follow the safety recommendations.

If you are reporting a fault, please indicate in your message if there are any people in the apartment who are ill, exposed or quarantined due to coronavirus. We request you to leave any non-urgent maintenance requests for later. Building-specific contact-details of the maintenance company can be found in the building-specific resident website.

Effects of the coronavirus epidemic on common sauna bookings and shared spaces

The number of coronavirus infections has increased significantly, which is why the authorities have issued new restrictions. Because of these restrictions, we are suspending all common sauna bookings in our buildings for the time being. Apartment-specific sauna bookings continue normally. To control the spread of the epidemic, we hope that each resident only uses the sauna when healthy, takes care of their hand and coughing hygiene and only goes to sauna with their family.

Club rooms may not be used, except for statutory resident meetings that are not subject to meeting restrictions, i.e., they can still be arranged, provided that the safety instructions and restrictions imposed by the authorities are taken into account. Washing facilities can still be used by the residents.

We remind our residents to be very careful with their hand and coughing hygiene when using in the shared facilities. Please also use a mask. Avoid touching any surfaces, such as grips, banisters and elevator buttons with dirty or bare hands.

In failure reports, inform if there is a sick or exposed person in the apartment or people in quarantine due to coronavirus. We request you to leave any non-urgent maintenance requests for later. Building-specific contact-details of the maintenance company can be found in the building-specific resident website.

We will inform the residents when the restrictions in the buildings can be dismantled.

Authorities announce new restrictions and recommendations on coronavirus epidemic

The coronavirus epidemic in the Helsinki region has shifted into the community transmission phase. We hope that every A-Kruunu resident will follow the instructions that have been given and will do everything possible to prevent the transmission of the virus and the acceleration of the epidemic.

The Metropolitan Area coronavirus coordination group has issued new restrictions and recommendations. The restrictions and recommendations apply to adult recreational activities, the holding of public events, the holding of private events, public spaces, secondary education, the use of facemasks by those doing office work and by upper comprehensive school pupils.

The restrictions and recommendations are in force from 23 November 2020 and will remain in force until further notice. In addition, recreational team sports and contact sports for those over the age of 20 will be suspended as of 23 November, 2020 for three weeks, and the maximum number of people allowed at public events is limited to 20 for three weeks as of 23 November, 2020.

Read more information on restrictions and recommendations on the website of the Metropolitan Area coronavirus coordination group.

The regional coronavirus coordination group for Uusimaa recommends the introduction of the new restrictions and recommendations in other parts of Uusimaa as well.

We ask our residents to take the prevailing situation seriously. Because of the threat of the spread of the epidemic it is especially important to follow the heightened recommendations and restrictions.

Each person can slow the spread of the coronavirus through personal action.

  • Remember social distancing
  • Wash your hands carefully and often
  • Cough into your sleeve or a handkerchief
  • Use a facemask if it is not possible to keep a safe distance
  • Work from home, if possible
  • If you suspect that you have been infected, get yourself tested

To prevent further acceleration of the epidemic, official guidelines and orders are to be followed in all A-Kruunu activities.

Current information on the situation in different areas, as well as recommendations and restrictions, are available on the pages of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

Coronavirus – Latest Updates

A-Kruunu instructions for residents during the current exceptional circumstances

The current exceptional circumstances will affect everyone’s daily lives and most of people’s daily activities will be centred in their homes. This requires quite a bit of adaptation from everyone as well as compliance with regulations and consideration for other residents. At A-Kruunu, we will strive to ensure that our customer service, as well as the maintenance and cleaning services at the properties we manage will be as effective as possible during the corona epidemic. Our aim is to increase the efficiency of cleaning to prevent the spread of the virus and the main focus of cleaning will be on disinfection and the intensive cleaning of surfaces people touch.

Official guidelines issued by authorities

A-Kruunu will comply with the instructions and regulations issued by authorities for controlling the coronavirus epidemic within all its activities. We ask that our residents take the situation seriously, comply with the provided instructions and do all they can to prevent the virus from spreading. It’s a good idea to follow the current official guidelines on the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare website at www.thl.fi.

Shared facilities and sauna bookings

Residents should avoid spending unnecessary time in shared facilities. In particular, parents should control their children’s time in the shared facilities and in the playground of the housing company.

Residents should not spend more time than necessary at smoking stations. In all activities, it is good to consider safe distance to other people.
All open sauna times of our houses have been cancelled. Apartment-specific sauna bookings continue normally. If you would like to make a new sauna booking, contact the maintenance company of your residence. You can find the contact details of the management company on the A-Kruunu website’s building-specific residents’ pages.  (Contents of the website are in English.)

In order to control the spread of the epidemic, we hope that each resident complies with common recommendations and gathering restrictions also during their sauna bookings: only use the sauna when healthy, take care of your hand and coughing hygiene and only o to sauna with your family.
The use of club facilities and other shared facilities is banned in gathering purposes until further notice, in accordance with the authorities’ valid instructions. Washing facilities can still be used by the residents.

We remind our residents to have very careful hand and coughing hygiene when moving in the shared facilities. Avoid touching any surfaces, such as grips, banisters and elevator buttons with dirty or bare hands. Only use the elevator alone or with your own company and follow the recommendations on safe distance.

In failure reports, inform if there is a sick or impacted person or people in quarantine due to coronavirus in the apartment. We request you to leave any non-urgent maintenance requests for later. House-specific contact-details of the maintenance company can be found in the house-specific resident website. (Contents of the website are in English.)

Disinfectant cleaning cloths, wet wipes and tissues should not be disposed of in the toilet

Resident events

All physical resident events will be rescheduled to a later date. Our digital era makes it easy to maintain a sense of community in the building and now is a good time to become active in the buildings’ social media groups. Everything that brings joy to others is permitted and recommended. For example, a singalong from the buildings’ balconies and other safe ways to maintain a sense of community are permitted.

Please remember good manners and to protect the privacy of others in the building company’s Facebook group and all other groups.

Neighbourly assistance

However, not everyone has access to the digital era’s communication methods so please also remember these neighbours. We wrote a notification to which our residents, who wish to help others, can add their contact information. We will be placing these notifications on your building’s bulletin board, but you can also print the notification yourself and place it on your building’s bulletin board. You can find the notification on our website and here. If you know that your neighbours are over the age of 70 or in risk groups, you can also drop a note in their mail slot offering to go to the store or pharmacy on their behalf.

Customer service

We will provide customer services by email or telephone. Application for apartments will continue in the normal manner via our website.

This will allow us to react properly. Building-specific contact information for the maintenance company is listed on the A-Kruunu website’s building-specific residents’ pages.

Communications and information

We update these instructions whenever necessary, and you can read the newest instructions on the A-Kruunu website. All bulletins will also be emailed to those residents whose email address we have and be placed on each building’s bulletin boards.
