Located in VR’s former machine workshop area, Fabriikki is a unique and carefully planned entity that is located in the vicinity of good connections and services.  The bus station, railway station and city centre services can be accessed conveniently via the Logomo pedestrian bridge, and the university is less than a 10 minute bike ride away. An ice sports and multi-purpose arena will also be built next to the A-Kruunu site.

A grocery shop and day-care centre are within walking distance, and the nearest school is about half a kilometre away.

The A-Kruunu rental homes are located in the peace and quiet of their own block near the city centre's services. Logomo, the centre for culture, arts and creative economy, is also located in the area. 

The design of homes has focused on functionality, lighting and varying views. Shared facilities increase living comfort. The clubroom, sauna facilities, laundry facilities and drying rooms are divided between three different buildings.
The parking spaces for residents (49 in total, including guest spaces) are located in the parking garage under the yard structure.
