Verkkosaari is a maritime residential area in the Kalasatama area on the shore of the Vanhankaupunginselkä block in the eastern heart of Helsinki.

Verkkosaari was previously a port area of Sörnäinen, and the sea is strongly present throughout the area. New, adaptable apartment blocks will be built in the maritime environment of the shores in Verkkosaari, which will also take into account the cooling needs of spaces through district cooling.
The Verkkosaarenranta homes are sized 29.0–101 square metres and have 1–5 rooms plus a kitchen. The building’s shared facilities include a laundry room, a club room and sauna facilities.
The neighbourhood of Verkkosaari is a wonderful combination of urban life and maritime scenery. Kalasatama metro station, Redi shopping centre and its various services are about 500 metres away.
The metro and buses take you quickly from Kalasatama to the other parts of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Daycare centres and schools can be found within walking distance, and the daycare selection will expand soon when new daycare centres are constructed.
The building is completely smoke-free: smoking is prohibited in homes and on balconies, and also in the shared premises and yards of the property. A complementary broadband connection of 10 Mbps is included. The water charge is based on consumption. Pets are welcome.
